Dance Gavin Dance

Sun, Feb 26, 2012

Dance Gavin Dance makes their return to Corpus Christi at House of Rock on November 9, 2011. The band formed in 2005 out of Sacramento, California. Dance Gavin Dance was created from the disbanding of Farewell Unknown, Ghost Runner on Third and Atherton. You probably know them because of their frequent line-up changes but the current line-up includes Jonny Craig (Vocals), Jon Mess (Vocals), Will Swan (Vocals/Guitar), Eric Lodge (Bass), and Matt Mingus (Drums). Shortly after their first EP release, in the summer of 2006, of ‘Whatever I Say is Royal Ocean’, Rise Records signed Dance Gavin Dance and re-issued the EP on November 14, 2006. This past April the band released ‘Downtown Battle Mountain Part II’.

Ballyhoo!

Sat, Mar 03, 2012

BALLYHOO! has toured the country with some of the biggest and most respected names in the reggae rock genre, including 311, Authority Zero, Pepper, and The Supervillains. Signed by LAW Records in January 2011, BALLYHOO! is undeniably turning the world of music upside down and sideways as they blur the lines between rock, reggae, punk and pop to craft their own hybrid of music that can’t be held down to one definitive genre. The band is on their way to come jam out Corpus Christi for the second time at House of Rock.
